Zapata Je Mexican Restaurant is searching for skilled and energetic Bartenders to join our pre-opening team ahead of our grand launch at J1 Beach, Dubai in July 2025. This role is perfect for passionate mixologists who have pre-opening experience and a strong knowledge of Mexican-inspired cocktails, tequila, and premium beverage service. If you excel in crafting exceptional drinks, delivering outstanding hospitality, and creating a lively bar atmosphere, this is your opportunity to shine in Dubai’s newest beachfront dining concept.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in pre-opening bar setup, including inventory stocking and workstation organization.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of classic and signature Mexican-inspired cocktails, premium tequila drinks, and specialty beverages.
  • Showcase expertise in mixology, flavor pairing, and creative cocktail presentations.
  • Engage with guests, offering recommendations and interactive drink experiences.
  • Ensure precise handling of ingredients and maintain high-quality beverage standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness, stock management, and bar hygiene protocols.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to provide seamless food and drink service integration.
  • Support pre-launch events, promotions, and tequila tasting activations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Bartender in a high-energy restaurant or bar setting.
  • Pre-opening experience in setting up bar operations is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican spirits, tequila brands, cocktail crafting, and mixology techniques.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to create an engaging bar atmosphere.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment.
  • Fluent in English; multilingual abilities are an advantage.
