As a Barista, you will be a key ambassador of our award-winning Food & Beverage team. Your passion for crafting perfect coffee and tea beverages will contribute to the overall guest journey, ensuring every cup served reflects our dedication to excellence. In this role, you will work in an inspiring environment overlooking the Arabian Gulf and the vibrant Corniche, where your creativity and service skills can shine.

Duties

  • Prepare & Serve Beverages: Craft a diverse range of specialty coffee and tea drinks that meet our rigorous quality standards.
  • Equipment Handling & Maintenance: Operate, clean, and maintain all coffee-making and beverage equipment in accordance with the hotel’s guidelines.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Greet and respond to guest orders, questions, concerns, and complaints with a polite, knowledgeable, and efficient attitude.
  • Cash & Credit Handling: Accurately process cash and credit card payments while strictly following established cash-handling procedures.
  • Efficient Service Delivery: Serve customers quickly and efficiently to enhance guest satisfaction, even during peak hours.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all menu offerings, enabling you to guide guests in their beverage choices.
  • Adherence to Standards: Observe all relevant health and safety regulations to ensure a clean, safe, and inviting working environment.

Qualifications
  • Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Must be well presented and professionally groomed at all times
  • Able to account and handle cash effectively and efficiently
  • Good communication and customer contact skills; good problem resolution skills
  • Basic F&B product knowledge
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
