Hostess at District 8 🌸 Position Overview:

As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering any of our venues. You’ll create an exceptional first impression, ensure smooth seating flow, manage reservations, and contribute to the polished, high-energy ambiance District 8 is known for. This role requires charm, confidence, and a strong sense of service excellence.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm, engaging, and professional demeanor.

  • Manage walk-ins and reservations using digital reservation systems (e.g. SevenRooms, OpenTable).

  • Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortably seated and attended to promptly.

  • Liaise with the reception supervisor and front-of-house teams to coordinate guest flow and VIP bookings.

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception area.

  • Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations during busy periods.

  • Uphold the image and style standards of District 8 at all times.

✅ Requirements:

  • 1+ year experience as a hostess in a fine-dining or luxury nightlife venue.

  • Immaculate personal presentation and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in English (additional languages such as Russian, Arabic, French, or Italian are a plus).

  • Friendly, confident, and energetic with a naturally welcoming attitude.

  • Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems is a plus.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
