Waiter (Food and beverage)Job Summary

Al Khoory Courtyard Hotel is looking for a personable and attentive Waiter to join our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and have a genuine desire to create exceptional dining experiences for guests. As a key team member, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering prompt and courteous assistance in line with our brand values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating and menu selections.

  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.

  • Serve meals and beverages professionally and in a timely manner.

  • Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in periodically and resolving concerns proactively.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area and service stations.

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.

  • Collaborate with the kitchen and other waitstaff to ensure smooth service.

  • Suggest daily specials or promotions and upsell menu items when appropriate.

  • Handle billing processes and process guest payments as needed.

  • Comply with hotel service standards, grooming guidelines, and operational procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel or high-end restaurant is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.

  • Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.

  • Flexible with shift timings including weekends and holidays.

  • Positive attitude, team spirit, and high levels of personal integrity.

  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Russian) are a plus.
