Floor supervisorPosition Overview

As a Floor Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient service. You will lead and motivate the front-of-house team, maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, and collaborate closely with kitchen staff to deliver seamless service.

🛎️ Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Relations: Greet guests upon arrival, present menus, assist in their selection, and ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience.​

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of waitstaff, ensuring adherence to service standards and efficient workflow.​

  • Operational Oversight: Monitor dining area cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.​

  • Training & Development: Assist in training new staff, providing guidance on service techniques, menu knowledge, and company policies.​

  • Inventory Management: Assist in conducting monthly inventory for all front-of-house equipment and supplies.​

  • Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.​

  • Opening/Closing Procedures: Participate in the restaurant’s opening and closing procedures, ensuring proper respect of norms and guidelines.​

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in F&B operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Experience in standalone or upscale dining restaurants is essential.​

  • Education: Technical degree in Food and Beverage or Hospitality Management is preferred.​

  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

  • Language: Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.​
