Position: Doorman

Location: Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, Al Rai Area, Kuwait City​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Reception: Greet and welcome all guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a memorable first impression.​

  • Door Assistance: Open doors for arriving and departing guests, assisting with luggage as needed.​

  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities, local attractions, dining options, and other services, offering personalized recommendations.​

  • Transportation Coordination: Assist guests with arranging transportation, including taxis and private cars, ensuring timely departures.​

  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of guest belongings and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.​

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Front Desk, Concierge, and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.​

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a guest service role, preferably within the hospitality industry, is desirable but not mandatory.​

  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.​

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.​

  • Professional Appearance: Well-groomed and dressed in accordance with the hotel’s grooming standards.​

  • Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to interact effectively with guests and team members.​

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.​
