Job Description:
As a Waiter, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering impeccable service. You will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and providing an overall exceptional guest experience. Your friendly, attentive, and efficient service will ensure that our guests’ needs are always met with a smile.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service:

  • Greet guests as they arrive, make them feel welcome, and guide them to their tables.

  • Present menus, describe menu items, and answer any questions about food and beverage offerings.

  • Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.

  • Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure the presentation of dishes meets the hotel’s high standards.

  • Ensure that all guests’ needs are met during their meal, offering a seamless and exceptional dining experience.

• Table Management:

  • Set and clear tables quickly and efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment.

  • Maintain proper table settings and ensure that all items (cutlery, napkins, glassware, etc.) are in place.

  • Refill beverages and assist with any special guest requests or dietary needs.

  • Assist with creating a comfortable dining atmosphere by adjusting lighting, music, and seating arrangements if needed.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.

  • Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to address guests’ needs promptly.

• Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to all hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and team members.

  • Follow all safety and cleaning protocols, including sanitizing tables and workstations.

• Upselling and Recommendations:

  • Proactively suggest menu items and promote specials to enhance the guest experience.

  • Upsell beverages, appetizers, or desserts to increase revenue while maintaining a personalized service approach.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Waiter, preferably in a hotel or fine-dining restaurant.

• Strong communication skills and fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairing and menu options.

• Flexibility with working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
