Job Description:
As a Hostess at Ape Hospitality, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience. You will assist in ensuring smooth operations by coordinating guest seating, managing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Manage reservations and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
  • Provide guests with accurate wait times and manage waiting lists.
  • Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortably settled.
  • Answer questions about the menu, services, and facilities.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
  • Assist with special requests or concerns, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Handle customer feedback in a professional and positive manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Hostess or in customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly, welcoming, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • A passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.
  • Knowledge of local hospitality industry trends is a plus.
