Waitress (Food and beverage)Job Summary

Al Khoory Courtyard Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Waitress to join our vibrant Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will provide excellent dining service in a warm, professional, and courteous manner, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well-cared for. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a desire to work in a high-quality and culturally rich hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and assist guests in making menu choices.

  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.

  • Serve dishes and beverages efficiently and according to service standards.

  • Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and resolving any issues promptly.

  • Maintain a clean, well-organized dining area and follow hygiene standards.

  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service.

  • Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service.

  • Process payments and handle billing in a professional manner.

  • Uphold hotel policies, grooming standards, and operational procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a waitress in a hotel or fine dining environment is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Pleasant personality with a strong customer-focused attitude.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service; POS system experience is a plus.

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as Arabic, Tagalog, or Hindi are a plus.

  • Neat appearance and commitment to maintaining professional grooming standards.
