Job Description:
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests’ rooms are always clean, comfortable, and welcoming. You will play a critical role in maintaining the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and ensuring that all areas are presented to perfection. You will work closely with other members of the housekeeping team to provide an exceptional experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room Cleaning & Maintenance:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring they meet the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

  • Make beds, change linens, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and sanitize bathrooms.

  • Replenish guestroom amenities, towels, linens, and other items as needed.

  • Report any maintenance or housekeeping issues (e.g., broken furniture, malfunctioning equipment) to the supervisor.

  • Ensure all rooms are properly stocked with amenities and supplies for guests’ comfort.

• Guest Interaction:

  • Greet guests courteously in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Handle any guest requests for additional items or services promptly and efficiently.

  • Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude while respecting guest privacy.

• Housekeeping Standards & Safety Compliance:

  • Follow the hotel’s procedures and guidelines for cleaning and maintaining rooms.

  • Adhere to safety and health regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

  • Maintain proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment to prevent accidents or damage.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Work as part of a team to achieve housekeeping goals and maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas.

  • Coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure the timely completion of tasks.

• General Housekeeping Duties:

  • Clean public areas, hallways, and corridors as required.

  • Assist in special cleaning projects, such as deep cleaning or turnover tasks, when necessary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant, Housekeeper, or similar role in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.

• Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and hospitality.

• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work quickly while maintaining high standards of quality.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as required.
