Job Description:

Zeus Restaurant and Lounge, an exciting new dining and entertainment venue located in the heart of Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), is looking for a passionate, dynamic, and customer-oriented Supervisor to join our growing team. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment for all staff. You will play a key role in delivering an outstanding guest experience and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional service standards.

  • Manage shifts, ensuring that the team is working efficiently and productively during peak times.

  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area and lounge.

  • Assist with staff training and development, providing guidance to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure health and safety standards are upheld and that the team follows all food safety protocols.

  • Work closely with management to ensure smooth operations, inventory control, and order accuracy.

  • Help maintain a positive and motivating environment for the team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a restaurant, lounge, or hospitality setting.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.

  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service.

  • Fluent in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

  • Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale lounge setting is preferred.
