Majestic Hotel Group is hiring enthusiastic and service‑oriented Waiter / Waitress to join our front‑of‑house team. This role is perfect for hospitality professionals who take pride in delivering polished, attentive service and creating memorable dining experiences. As a waiter/waitress at Majestic, you will be the primary point of contact for guests in our restaurants and outlets, responsible for accurate order taking, timely service, and maintaining the highest standards of presentation and hygiene. You will work closely with kitchen and bar teams, support upselling and revenue initiatives, and contribute to a warm, efficient dining environment. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Guest Service — Welcome guests, present menus, explain specials, take orders, and ensure timely, courteous service throughout the meal.
  • Order Accuracy — Enter orders into the POS accurately; confirm special requests, allergies, and dietary requirements.
  • Table Management — Set, clear, and reset tables to brand standards; monitor table turns and coordinate with colleagues to optimize flow.
  • Coordination — Liaise with kitchen and bar teams to ensure correct and timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Upselling & Recommendations — Suggest menu items and promotions in a natural, guest‑focused way to enhance the dining experience and support revenue goals.
  • Hygiene & Safety — Follow food safety, sanitation, and service protocols; report any incidents or hazards immediately.
  • Guest Recovery — Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate issues to the F&B Captain or Manager when necessary.
  • Cash & POS — Process payments, handle basic cash transactions, and assist with end‑of‑shift reconciliation as required.
  • Event Support — Assist with setup and service for private dining, banquets, and special events.
  • Teamwork — Support colleagues during busy periods, participate in briefings, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Experience — 0–3 years in a restaurant, hotel, or customer‑facing hospitality role preferred; entry‑level candidates with strong attitude and trainability are welcome.
  • Education — High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training or certification is an advantage.
  • Skills — Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and basic numeracy; confident phone manner for reservations.
  • Technical — Comfortable using POS systems and following order workflows.
  • Personal Attributes — Friendly, presentable, composed under pressure, and attentive to detail.
  • Language — Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Availability — Flexible to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Work Authorization — Legal right to work in the UAE or the country where the role is based.
