Ammos is looking for a professional, energetic Supervisor to join our front‑of‑house leadership team and help deliver authentic Mediterranean hospitality in a busy, high‑standard environment. This role suits a service‑minded leader who balances operational discipline with warm guest engagement, ensuring every service runs smoothly from pre‑shift briefing to final bill. You will support the Front of House Manager in coaching staff, managing reservations and floor flow, and resolving guest feedback with tact and speed. The ideal candidate brings a hands‑on approach to service, a clear understanding of restaurant KPIs, and a genuine enthusiasm for Greek cuisine and communal dining culture. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Service leadership: Supervise daily service operations, coordinate station assignments, and ensure consistent, high‑quality guest service.
  • Team coaching: Train, mentor, and motivate servers, hosts, and bussing staff; run pre‑service briefings and post‑service reviews.
  • Guest relations: Greet and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists, handle guest enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Operational oversight: Monitor service timing, table turns, and side‑work completion; support FOH Manager with shift planning and staffing.
  • Sales and upselling: Encourage suggestive selling, promote specials, and support beverage pairing recommendations to enhance guest spend.
  • Standards and compliance: Enforce service standards, dress code, and hygiene protocols; ensure POS accuracy and cash handling procedures.
  • Event support: Assist with private dining, group bookings, and special events coordination as required.
  • Reporting: Provide shift reports, guest feedback summaries, and assist with basic FOH inventory checks.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or senior server role within upscale, high‑volume, or Mediterranean/seafood restaurants.
  • Service skills: Strong knowledge of front‑of‑house operations, reservation systems, and POS platforms.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead small teams, coach staff, and maintain morale during busy services.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, fluent English; additional languages (Greek, Arabic, or Russian) are an advantage.
  • Commercial awareness: Comfortable with upselling techniques, basic reporting, and meeting service KPIs.
  • Personal attributes: Calm under pressure, detail‑oriented, guest‑centric, and professional in presentation.
  • Availability: Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays; willingness to support occasional off‑site events.

Salary Scale

  • Monthly Salary Range: AED 8,000 – AED 12,000 depending on experience and demonstrated leadership.
  • Additional Compensation: Eligibility for service tips and performance‑based incentives.
  • Contract Notes: Final package confirmed at offer stage and may include accommodation or transport allowance where applicable.
