Majestic Hotel Group is seeking a vigilant, professional, and service‑minded Security Officer to join our Safety & Security team. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well‑managed environment for guests, colleagues, and visitors across our hotel. As a Security Officer, you will conduct regular patrols, monitor CCTV systems, respond to incidents, support emergency procedures, and uphold Majestic’s standards of guest care and confidentiality. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, observant, disciplined, and able to communicate clearly with both guests and team members. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Patrolling & Monitoring — Conduct routine patrols of guest areas, back‑of‑house, parking zones, and restricted spaces to ensure safety and compliance.
  • CCTV & Access Control — Monitor surveillance systems, control access points, and report any suspicious activity or irregularities.
  • Incident Response — Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, guest concerns, and accidents; provide first‑level support until specialized teams arrive.
  • Guest Assistance — Offer courteous support to guests, including directions, lost‑and‑found handling, and escorting when required.
  • Reporting & Documentation — Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and handover notes for incoming shifts.
  • Emergency Procedures — Support fire drills, evacuation protocols, and crisis response plans; ensure equipment such as extinguishers and alarms are functional.
  • Asset Protection — Safeguard hotel property, monitor deliveries, and prevent unauthorized removal of assets.
  • Compliance — Enforce hotel policies, safety regulations, and local security laws; maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Coordination — Work closely with front office, engineering, and management teams to ensure smooth operations and quick resolution of issues.
  • Training Support — Assist in training colleagues on safety awareness, emergency procedures, and security protocols.

Requirements

  • Experience — 1–3 years in hotel security, facility security, or a similar role preferred; fresh candidates with strong discipline may be considered.
  • Education — High school diploma or equivalent; security or safety certifications are an advantage.
  • Skills — Strong observation, communication, and problem‑solving abilities; confident handling stressful situations.
  • Technical — Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control tools, and basic computer reporting.
  • Physical Fitness — Able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods; capable of responding quickly to emergencies.
  • Personal Attributes — Professional appearance, integrity, reliability, and a guest‑focused attitude.
  • Language — Good English communication; additional languages are beneficial.
  • Availability — Flexible to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Work Authorization — Legal right to work in the UAE or the country where the role is based.
