S.J. Abed General Enterprises Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Catering Supervisor to oversee daily catering operations and ensure the delivery of high‑quality food services across our sites. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who excels in managing teams, maintaining service standards, and coordinating kitchen and dining activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising catering staff, ensuring food safety compliance, monitoring inventory, and supporting smooth meal service operations. We are looking for someone who is detail‑oriented, customer‑focused, and capable of maintaining efficiency in a fast‑paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily catering operations, including meal preparation and service.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and served according to quality and hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain timely meal schedules.
  • Monitor food inventory, storage, and consumption; report shortages promptly.
  • Oversee staff performance, scheduling, and task assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining areas.
  • Assist in menu planning and portion control as required.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve service‑related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of meals served, supplies used, and staff attendance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Catering Supervisor or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and catering operations.
  • Ability to lead and motivate multicultural teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with HACCP standards and catering best practices.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours or shifts when required.
