Al Ittihad Private School is seeking a compassionate, organized, and energetic Homeroom Teacher to join our Al Mamzar campus for the 2026–2027 academic year. We are looking for an educator who creates a safe, inclusive classroom where every child is encouraged to learn, grow, and thrive. The successful candidate will provide daily pastoral care, deliver core lessons, and work closely with subject specialists, parents, and school leaders to support each student’s academic progress and social‑emotional development. Duties and responsibilities

  • Pastoral care and classroom management
    Establish routines, maintain a positive classroom climate, and monitor students’ social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Curriculum delivery
    Plan and teach core lessons aligned to school standards; differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Assessment and reporting
    Use formative and summative assessments to track progress; prepare termly reports and contribute to data‑driven planning.
  • Parent and community liaison
    Maintain professional, timely communication with parents and guardians; participate in parent‑teacher conferences.
  • Co‑curricular and supervision duties
    Support assemblies, class trips, extracurricular activities, and supervise students during breaks as required.
  • Safeguarding and record keeping
    Keep accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and academic progress; follow school safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Professional collaboration
    Participate in grade‑level planning, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development; contribute to school improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years classroom experience in primary/elementary settings; international school experience is an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent written and verbal communication, and proven ability to differentiate instruction.
  • Attributes: Empathetic, organized, proactive, culturally sensitive, and committed to student wellbeing.
  • Compliance: Valid UAE work authorization and clear background checks; willingness to complete school onboarding and safeguarding training.
