We are seeking an experienced, guest‑focused Front Office Supervisor to lead daily front desk operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and support the Front Office Manager in maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, operational know‑how, and polished interpersonal skills in a luxury hotel environment.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise front desk operations including check‑in/check‑out, guest registration, billing, and concierge services.
  • Lead and coach the front office team: assign shifts, monitor performance, deliver on‑the‑job training, and conduct briefings.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by handling guest requests, complaints, and special requirements promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain operational standards for accuracy in billing, room inventory, and daily reporting.
  • Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, reservations, F&B, security) to ensure smooth guest flow and service delivery.
  • Manage reservations and room allocations during peak periods and special events to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Enforce hotel policies and procedures including health and safety, cash handling, and data privacy.
  • Prepare and review shift handover reports and escalate issues to management as required.
  • Support revenue initiatives by upselling room categories and hotel services when appropriate.
  • Participate in recruitment and scheduling to maintain adequate staffing levels and service continuity.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in front office operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role at a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team‑building abilities; excellent communication and problem‑solving skills; proficiency with hotel PMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages (Arabic, Spanish, French, Russian) are an advantage.
  • Personal attributes: Professional appearance, high emotional intelligence, attention to detail, and a guest‑first mindset.
  • Availability: Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Certifications: First aid or hospitality certifications are a plus.
