Majestic Hotel Group is seeking a skilled, hands‑on, and safety‑focused Engineering Supervisor to support the daily operations of our Engineering Department. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who can lead a team, manage preventive maintenance, respond to guest and operational requests, and ensure the hotel’s facilities are always in excellent working condition. As an Engineering Supervisor, you will oversee technicians, coordinate maintenance tasks, inspect equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will play a key role in maintaining Majestic’s high operational standards and supporting a smooth, efficient, and guest‑ready environment across the property.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations Supervision — Lead and coordinate engineering technicians; assign tasks and ensure timely completion.
  • Preventive Maintenance — Oversee and execute preventive maintenance schedules for guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house systems.
  • Equipment & System Monitoring — Inspect and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life‑safety systems.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs — Respond to maintenance requests, diagnose issues, and perform or supervise repairs efficiently.
  • Safety & Compliance — Ensure adherence to safety protocols, fire‑life‑safety procedures, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory & Tools Management — Monitor spare parts, tools, and materials; assist with requisitions and stock control.
  • Team Leadership — Train, guide, and support technicians; conduct shift briefings and ensure grooming and conduct standards.
  • Coordination — Work closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Security, and F&B to resolve maintenance issues quickly.
  • Reporting — Maintain logs, update maintenance systems, and prepare shift handovers and incident reports.
  • Project Support — Assist with renovation works, contractor supervision, and special engineering projects.

Requirements

  • Experience — Minimum 3–5 years in hotel engineering or facility maintenance, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Education — Technical diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or a related field.
  • Skills — Strong troubleshooting abilities, leadership skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Technical Knowledge — Familiarity with hotel systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, BMS, and fire‑life‑safety equipment.
  • Personal Attributes — Reliable, detail‑oriented, safety‑conscious, and calm under pressure.
  • Language — Good English communication; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Availability — Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Work Authorization — Legal right to work in the UAE or the country where the role is based.
