Majestic Hotel Group is seeking a talented, disciplined, and creative Chef de Partie to join our Culinary team. This role is ideal for a skilled cook who can independently manage a section, maintain high food‑quality standards, and contribute to a smooth kitchen operation. As a Chef de Partie, you will oversee mise‑en‑place, cooking, plating, and hygiene for your assigned station while supporting junior staff and collaborating with the Sous Chef and Head Chef. You will play a key role in delivering Majestic’s signature dining experience through consistency, precision, and passion for food.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Section Management — Oversee daily operations of your assigned kitchen section (hot, cold, grill, pastry, etc.).
  • Food Preparation — Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes, portion standards, and plating guidelines.
  • Mise‑en‑Place — Ensure your station is fully prepared, stocked, and organized before and during service.
  • Quality Control — Maintain high standards of taste, texture, presentation, and freshness.
  • Hygiene & Safety — Follow HACCP guidelines, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper food storage and labeling.
  • Team Support — Guide Commis Chefs, assist colleagues during busy periods, and support smooth kitchen flow.
  • Inventory & Stock — Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist with daily requisitions.
  • Equipment Care — Use kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions immediately.
  • Menu Support — Assist in developing new dishes, specials, and seasonal menus when requested by the Head Chef.
  • Coordination — Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef, service team, and other kitchen sections.

Requirements

  • Experience — Minimum 2–4 years in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef experience.
  • Education — Culinary diploma or equivalent training.
  • Skills — Strong cooking techniques, time management, multitasking, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge — Familiarity with HACCP, food safety, and kitchen operations.
  • Personal Attributes — Creative, disciplined, calm under pressure, and team‑oriented.
  • Physical Ability — Able to stand for long periods and work in a fast‑paced, high‑heat environment.
  • Language — Basic English communication; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Availability — Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Work Authorization — Legal right to work in the UAE or the country where the role is based.
