🔹 Job Summary:
Gloria Hotels is looking for a skilled and reliable Audio-Visual (AV) Technician to join our Engineering & Events team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining all AV equipment used for meetings, conferences, banquets, and guest events across the hotel.

🛎️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate audio, video, lighting, and projection equipment for hotel events and functions.

  • Provide on-site technical support for meetings, presentations, weddings, and corporate events.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot AV equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, LED screens, and sound systems.

  • Coordinate with event planners and guests to understand AV requirements and deliver optimal solutions.

  • Ensure all equipment is properly stored, maintained, and inventoried.

  • Collaborate with the Banqueting and Engineering teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Maintain logs of equipment usage, repairs, and inventory.

  • Stay updated with emerging AV technologies and best practices.

✅ Requirements:

  • Prior experience as an AV Technician in a hotel, events venue, or corporate setting.

  • Knowledge of sound systems, video conferencing tools, lighting setups, and multimedia equipment.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Professional communication and guest-facing etiquette.

  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Technical certification or diploma in AV or a related field is preferred.
