AC Technician

Majestic Hotel Group is looking for a skilled, reliable, and safety‑focused AC Technician to join our Engineering team. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who can diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems to ensure guest comfort and smooth hotel operations. As an AC Technician, you will handle preventive maintenance, respond to guest room calls, troubleshoot cooling issues, and support the Engineering Supervisor with system inspections and equipment upkeep. Duties and Responsibilities

• HVAC Maintenance — Perform routine maintenance on AC units, ventilation systems, exhaust fans, and related equipment.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs — Diagnose issues with split units, FCUs, AHUs, chillers (basic level), and thermostats; carry out repairs efficiently.
• Guest Room Support — Respond promptly to guest room AC complaints and ensure quick, effective solutions.
• Preventive Maintenance — Execute scheduled PM tasks including filter cleaning, coil washing, lubrication, and performance checks.
• System Monitoring — Inspect temperature controls, refrigerant levels, electrical components, and airflow performance.
• Safety & Compliance — Follow all safety procedures, lock‑out/tag‑out rules, and HVAC handling guidelines.
• Equipment Care — Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; report defects or required replacements.
• Coordination — Work closely with Engineering, Housekeeping, and Front Office to resolve issues quickly.
• Record Keeping — Update job cards, maintenance logs, and daily reports accurately.
• Emergency Response — Assist during breakdowns, leaks, alarms, and urgent HVAC‑related situations.

Requirements

• Experience — Minimum 2–4 years of AC/HVAC maintenance experience, preferably in hotels or facility management.
• Education — Technical diploma or certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Skills — Strong troubleshooting ability, understanding of HVAC systems, and good time management.
• Technical Knowledge — Familiarity with split units, FCUs, AHUs, chillers, thermostats, and basic electrical components.
• Personal Attributes — Reliable, safety‑conscious, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
• Physical Ability — Able to lift, climb, bend, and work in confined spaces when required.
• Language — Basic English communication; additional languages are an advantage.
• Availability — Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Work Authorization — Legal right to work in the UAE or the country where the role is based.
