Millennium Hotels is looking for a professional and personable CID Telephone Operator to join our hospitality team. As a key part of the guest experience, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, providing efficient and exceptional service while managing communications and requests.

Position: CID Telephone Operator
Location: Millennium Hotels & Resorts, Sharjah

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.

  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and reservations efficiently, directing calls to the appropriate departments when necessary.

  • Ensure proper communication between all departments to guarantee seamless service.

  • Provide guests with information regarding hotel services, facilities, local attractions, and transportation.

  • Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality according to hotel policies.

  • Update and maintain the CID system with guest details and reservations.

  • Ensure that all phone lines are answered promptly and accurately, even during high-traffic periods.

  • Take and relay messages for guests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Handle any other communication-related tasks as needed to support the hotel’s operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a telephone operator, receptionist, or in a similar customer service role is preferred.

  • Strong communication skills, with a clear and friendly telephone manner.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional attitude, attention to detail, and a high standard of customer service.

  • Familiarity with CID systems or similar hotel management software is an advantage.

  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
