Job Description:
As a Waiter/Waitress at Ape Hospitality, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is seamless and memorable. You will interact directly with customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings.
  • Take customer orders and accurately input them into the system.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Ensure guests are satisfied with their meals and address any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
  • Handle customer payments, process transactions, and provide accurate change when needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning the dining area.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and special dietary requirements to assist guests with their choices.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure safe food handling and cleanliness.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, energetic, and positive attitude with a passion for delivering great customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
  • A strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings is a plus.
