Zapata Je Mexican Restaurant is looking for passionate Waiters and Waitresses to join our pre-opening team ahead of our grand launch at J1 Beach, Dubai in July 2025. As part of our service crew, you will play a vital role in delivering authentic Mexican dining experiences, ensuring exceptional hospitality, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. If you have pre-opening experience and a flair for providing outstanding service, this is your opportunity to be part of a dynamic team at Dubai’s newest beachside dining destination!

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, attentive service to guests in a casual yet professional dining environment.
  • Assist in pre-opening setup, including table arrangements, service workflow, and operational readiness.
  • Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations on dishes and rich tequila selections.
  • Take and process orders efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate food and drink service.
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness and uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless food and beverage coordination.
  • Support special events, promotions, and pre-launch activities.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and requests with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Experience in pre-opening setups is highly preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with an energetic and welcoming personality.
  • Knowledge of Mexican cuisine and beverage service, including tequila, is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team-driven, high-energy hospitality setting.
  • Fluent in English; multilingual abilities are an advantage.
