We are seeking reliable, detail‑oriented Room Attendants to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and back‑of‑house areas. The ideal candidates take pride in meticulous housekeeping, deliver discreet and friendly service, and contribute to a calm, efficient guest experience in a luxury design hotel.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards: make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, polish surfaces, and replenish amenities.
  • Sanitize bathrooms and fixtures including replenishing toiletries, replacing towels, and ensuring no maintenance issues remain.
  • Inspect rooms for damage and maintenance needs and report issues promptly to Housekeeping Supervisor or Engineering.
  • Follow room‑turn procedures for check‑out and stay‑over services, ensuring timely turnaround and readiness for arrivals.
  • Manage lost and found items according to hotel policy and log or hand over items to the supervisor.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean, organized, and secure manner.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards including correct handling of cleaning chemicals and use of personal protective equipment.
  • Assist with laundry and linen handling when required and ensure proper segregation and labeling.
  • Support special requests such as turndown service, extra amenities, or VIP preparations with discretion and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments (Front Office, Engineering, F&B) to meet guest needs and resolve issues quickly.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year in housekeeping or room attendant role preferred; hotel experience is an advantage.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail; ability to follow checklists and procedures; basic physical fitness for lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Personal qualities: Reliable, punctual, discreet, guest‑focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Languages: Basic English required; additional languages (Arabic, Spanish, Russian, French) are a plus.
  • Availability: Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Certifications: Food hygiene or housekeeping training is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Legal: Right to work in the UAE or valid work permit.
