Duties and Responsibilities
Assistant Restaurant Manager
- Support the Restaurant Manager in running daily front-of-house operations smoothly
- Lead, coach, and schedule the service team to maintain high standards
- Handle guest feedback and complaints quickly and professionally
- Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety rules
- Assist with stock control, cost management, and sales targets
Supervisor
- Oversee the floor during shifts and guide waiters, hosts, and runners
- Ensure every guest is greeted, seated, and served to company standards
- Brief the team on menus, specials, and daily priorities
- Resolve guest issues on the spot and escalate when needed
- Assist with opening and closing duties and shift reports
Waiter / Waitress
- Welcome guests, present menus, and make recommendations
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly and to the correct standard
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout the meal
- Maintain a clean, organized station and process payments accurately
Junior Waiter
- Assist senior waiters with setting up tables and stations
- Deliver food and beverages and clear tables efficiently
- Refill water, cutlery, and service items as needed
- Learn the menu, service sequence, and POS system
- Support the team during busy periods and keep the floor tidy
Hostess
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional attitude
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists
- Seat guests according to table availability and preferences
- Answer phone and email enquiries about bookings and venue details
- Coordinate with the floor team to keep table turnover smooth
Bartender
- Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, and beverages to recipe and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized bar
- Take drink orders, process payments, and engage with guests
- Check stock levels and assist with inventory and requisitions
- Follow responsible service of alcohol and hygiene regulations
Barback
- Restock ice, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies throughout the shift
- Assist bartenders with prep, cutting fruit, and preparing mixers
- Keep the bar area clean, tidy, and safe
- Collect and wash glassware and bar equipment
- Help receive and store deliveries and support bar inventory
Requirements
Assistant Restaurant Manager
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory or management role in restaurants
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of F&B service standards and operations
- Fluent English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
Supervisor
- Proven experience as a Supervisor, Captain, or senior waiter
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong guest service and complaint-handling skills
- Good communication skills in English
- Flexible with working hours
Waiter / Waitress
- Previous experience in restaurant service, ideally in the UAE
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service
- Friendly, presentable, and guest-focused
- Good spoken English
- Team player who works well under pressure
Junior Waiter
- Some hospitality experience preferred, but enthusiastic beginners are welcome
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and work shifts
Hostess
- Experience in a hostess, reception, or guest relations role preferred
- Professional appearance and welcoming personality
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using reservation systems
Bartender
- Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant, bar, or lounge
- Knowledge of classic and modern cocktails and beverages
- Strong customer service and speed under pressure
- Good communication skills in English
- Valid bar or responsible service certification is an advantage
Barback
- Previous barback or bar support experience preferred
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry supplies
- Good teamwork and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and grow into a bartending role
