Nezha restaurant and cafe is seeking a dynamic and personable Hostess to become the face of our establishment. As a Hostess, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while managing the flow of our busy dining service. You will be responsible for greeting and seating patrons, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they walk through our doors. In addition to your friendly demeanor, you will need to possess excellent organizational and communication skills to handle reservations, waitlists, and customer inquiries effectively. Hostess Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, ensuring optimal table turnover.
  • Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials and promotions.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding restaurant services and availability.
  • Maintain a clean and organized entrance and waiting area to enhance the guest experience.
  • Assist in training new staff members on hosting procedures and customer service standards.
  • Collaborate with the waitstaff and kitchen staff to communicate guest needs and special requests.

 

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed during busy periods.
  • Proficient in using reservation management systems and basic computer programs.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • A passion for providing exceptional service and enhancing the dining experience.
