Creekside Hotel Dubai is seeking a warm, polished Hostess to create the first great impression for our F&B outlets. This front-of-house role is perfect for someone with a friendly demeanor, excellent organizational skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality. As Hostess, you will manage reservations, welcome and seat guests, and coordinate with service teams to ensure smooth dining flow and memorable guest experiences. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Guest Reception: Greet guests warmly on arrival, manage the waiting area, and escort guests to their tables.
  • Reservation Management: Handle reservations, maintain the reservation book or system, and manage waiting lists during peak periods.
  • Seating Coordination: Allocate tables to optimize flow and service efficiency; coordinate with servers and supervisors for special seating requests.
  • Guest Communication: Provide menu information, answer basic inquiries, and communicate guest preferences or special requests to the service team.
  • Ambience & Presentation: Maintain a tidy, welcoming host station and ensure public dining areas are presentable.
  • Problem Handling: Manage guest concerns related to seating or wait times with tact and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Administrative Tasks: Update guest logs, assist with billing queries when required, and support F&B promotions or events.
  • Shift Flexibility: Work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as rostered.

Requirements

  • Experience: Prior experience as a hostess, front-of-house staff, or in customer-facing hospitality roles preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong organizational ability and calm under pressure.
  • Appearance: Professional, well-groomed presentation and polished demeanor.
  • Attributes: Friendly, proactive, attentive to detail, and guest-focused.
  • Language: Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Technical: Comfortable using reservation systems and basic POS or communication tools.
  • Availability: Flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
