Food runner (Pre-opening)Job Summary

Zapata Je Mexican Restaurant is looking for dedicated and energetic Food Runners to join our pre-opening team ahead of our grand launch at J1 Beach, Dubai in July 2025. As a Food Runner, you will be an essential link between the kitchen and dining area, ensuring that meals are delivered promptly, accurately, and with the highest quality presentation. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced restaurant environments and are passionate about enhancing guest dining experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in pre-opening preparations, setting up service stations, and organizing workflow.
  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure accuracy, presentation, and proper handling of dishes.
  • Communicate effectively between kitchen staff, servers, and guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas and dining spaces.
  • Support waitstaff in responding to guest requests and ensuring seamless service.
  • Uphold high hygiene and safety standards while handling food.
  • Assist in pre-launch promotional events and restaurant activations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant operations is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficiency and professionalism.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high-quality dining experience.
  • Positive attitude, energy, and willingness to support the team.
  • Knowledge of Mexican cuisine and menu items is an advantage.

Zapata Je Mexican Restaurant is a casual dining concept launching at J1 Beach, Dubai in July 2025. We offer an immersive experience featuring authentic Mexican flavors, handcrafted beverages, and rich tequilas, all set against a stunning beachfront backdrop.
