Majestic Hotel Group is seeking a confident, service‑driven Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure a seamless guest experience across all departments. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a leadership position, can make quick, informed decisions, and represents the hotel with professionalism and warmth. As Duty Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for guests, handle escalations, coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and Security, and ensure that all brand standards are consistently upheld. You will lead by example, support colleagues during peak periods, and maintain a strong presence throughout the property. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight — Supervise daily hotel operations during assigned shifts; ensure smooth coordination between all departments.
  • Guest Relations — Serve as the hotel’s senior representative on duty; handle VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Crisis & Incident Management — Respond to emergencies, safety incidents, and operational disruptions; follow established protocols and prepare accurate reports.
  • Team Leadership — Support and guide front‑line teams; conduct briefings, monitor performance, and ensure staff adhere to service standards.
  • Quality Assurance — Conduct property walkthroughs to inspect cleanliness, maintenance, and service readiness; follow up on corrective actions.
  • Revenue & Cash Handling — Oversee cash floats, billing issues, and rate authorizations; ensure compliance with financial procedures.
  • Communication & Reporting — Prepare detailed shift reports, handovers, and incident logs; communicate key updates to management.
  • Policy Compliance — Ensure all departments follow hotel policies, SOPs, safety regulations, and brand guidelines.
  • Training Support — Assist in onboarding and coaching new team members; reinforce service culture and operational excellence.
  • Guest Experience Enhancement — Identify service gaps, propose improvements, and support initiatives that elevate guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience — Minimum 3–5 years in Front Office or hotel operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Education — Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • Skills — Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities; confident decision‑making under pressure.
  • Technical — Proficiency with PMS systems, MS Office, and basic reporting tools.
  • Personal Attributes — Professional appearance, calm demeanor, high emotional intelligence, and a guest‑centric mindset.
  • Knowledge — Understanding of hotel operations, safety protocols, and service recovery techniques.
  • Language — Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Availability — Flexible to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Work Authorization — Legal right to work in the UAE or the country where the role is based.
