Clap of Flour, the newest Pasta Bar Concept by Glee Hospitality Group, is gearing up to open at the vibrant Canal Front in Dubai. We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Commis Chef with a passion for pasta-making and Italian cuisine.
This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and develop their culinary skills in a professional kitchen environment. As a Commis Chef, you will support senior chefs in daily operations, assist with pasta preparation, and help maintain the highest standards of food quality and cleanliness. 👨‍🍳 Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in pasta preparation, dough mixing, shaping, and basic sauce work.
• Support senior chefs with mise en place and daily prep tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations at all times.
• Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and kitchen standards accurately.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
• Assist during service to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef (Italian or pasta-focused kitchens preferred).
• Basic knowledge of pasta-making techniques is an advantage.
• Locally available in the UAE.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
• Commitment to hygiene, food safety, and teamwork.
