As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring premium service, smooth execution, and team synergy. You will play a key role in training staff, enhancing guest satisfaction, and helping the venue meet its performance goals from the very first day.

Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) is an internationally recognized hospitality company specializing in lifestyle and luxury concepts. As we prepare to launch an exciting new venue in Montenegro, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our pre-opening team and help us deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in all pre-opening activities including recruitment, training, and operational setup

  • Ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently across all shifts

  • Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house team members

  • Maintain service standards and ensure all guest interactions reflect the brand’s ethos

  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism

  • Monitor hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in compliance with local and international standards

  • Manage POS systems, inventory, and supply orders as needed

  • Support in scheduling, team briefings, and performance reviews

  • Work closely with the culinary and bar teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role in high-end or lifestyle dining venues

  • Previous pre-opening experience is a strong advantage

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills

  • Customer-focused mindset with a keen eye for detail

  • Familiar with restaurant systems, SOPs, and health regulations

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Fluent in English; additional European language is a plus

  • Willing to relocate and available for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
