We are hiring an experienced Reservation Manager to lead our reservations and guest relations function at an AlphaMind Group venue in Dubai. The Reservation Manager will own the booking lifecycle, optimise covers and seating, manage the reservations team, and deliver a seamless guest experience across phone, email and online channels. This is a full‑time role with regular evening and weekend shifts.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Reservations strategy: Develop and implement reservation policies, booking rules, and table allocation strategies to maximise covers and revenue.
  • Team management: Supervise, train and schedule the reservations team; run daily briefings and performance reviews.
  • System ownership: Manage the reservations and CRM systems (setup, maintenance, reporting, and integrations with POS and booking platforms).
  • Guest relations: Handle VIP profiles, special requests, and high‑value bookings; ensure personalised pre‑arrival and post‑service communications.
  • Yield management: Monitor covers, no‑show rates and cancellations; implement upsell and pre‑order strategies to improve average spend.
  • Cross‑department coordination: Liaise with FOH, kitchen, events and marketing to align bookings with service capacity and promotional activity.
  • Reporting and analysis: Produce daily and weekly reservation reports, forecast demand, and recommend staffing or menu adjustments for peak periods.
  • Policy and compliance: Ensure GDPR and data‑privacy best practices for guest data; maintain accurate guest records and consent logs.
  • Problem resolution: Resolve booking conflicts, overbookings and guest complaints with diplomacy and timely follow‑up.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years managing reservations, guest relations or front‑office operations in high‑volume restaurants, hotels or hospitality groups.
  • Technical skills: Strong experience with reservation and CRM systems (e.g., Resy, SevenRooms, OpenTable or similar) and confident with Excel and reporting tools.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead small teams, coach staff and improve operational KPIs.
  • Commercial acumen: Understanding of yield management, covers forecasting and revenue optimisation.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Customer focus: Polished guest manner, discretion with VIPs and high standards of service.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule with evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Presentation: Professional grooming and a polished demeanor.
  • Right to work: Legal authorization to work in the UAE.
  • Qualifications: Hospitality diploma or relevant certification is a plus.
