We are hiring an organised, guest‑focused Reception Manager to lead the front desk and guest relations at an AlphaMind Group venue in Dubai. The Reception Manager will own first‑impression guest interactions, manage the reception team, coordinate arrivals and departures, and ensure smooth communication between reservations, concierge, FOH and back‑of‑house. This is a full‑time role with regular evenings, weekends and public‑holiday shifts.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Front desk leadership: Supervise and schedule reception staff; run pre‑shift briefings and ensure consistent service standards at the reception.
  • Guest arrivals and departures: Manage check‑ins/check‑outs, welcome VIPs, handle luggage/concierge requests and ensure efficient guest flow.
  • Reservations and coordination: Liaise with Reservations, Reservations Manager and FOH to manage arrivals, table allocations and special requests.
  • Communication hub: Act as the primary point of contact for guest enquiries by phone, email and in person; coordinate with events, kitchen and security for smooth operations.
  • Complaint resolution: Resolve guest issues professionally and escalate when necessary; follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Administrative duties: Maintain accurate guest logs, incident reports and shift handovers; manage lost & found and guest billing queries.
  • Training and standards: Coach reception team on guest etiquette, upselling, CRM usage and data‑privacy best practices.
  • Health and safety: Ensure reception area complies with hygiene, licensing and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a supervisory front‑desk or guest‑relations role in restaurants, hotels, clubs or high‑volume hospitality venues.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organisation and multitasking skills; strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution ability.
  • Technical: Comfortable with reservation and CRM systems, phone systems and basic reporting tools.
  • Customer focus: Polished guest manner, discretion with VIPs and high standards of service.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Languages: Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Presentation: Professional grooming and a polished demeanor.
  • Right to work: Legal authorization to work in the UAE.
  • Qualifications: Hospitality diploma or relevant certification is a plus.
