Hostess Job Opening — Miray Group, Dubai

We are hiring a warm, professional Hostess to join Miray Group’s restaurant team in Dubai. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth front‑of‑house experience. You will be the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for exceptional service with a friendly demeanor and polished presentation. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, communicate clearly with guests and colleagues, and help maintain an organized, efficient seating flow. Previous hospitality or reception experience is preferred but enthusiasm, reliability, and a guest‑first attitude are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously.
  • Manage reservations and seating using the reservation system and waiting list.
  • Provide accurate wait times and keep guests informed during busy periods.
  • Coordinate with servers and kitchen to optimize table turnover and guest flow.
  • Maintain a tidy reception area and ensure menus and promotional materials are available.
  • Handle guest inquiries and minor complaints professionally or escalate when needed.
  • Assist with light administrative tasks such as answering calls and updating reservation notes.

Requirements

  • Positive attitude with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and strong guest‑service orientation.
  • Previous experience in a hostess, front‑desk, or customer‑facing hospitality role preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Team player who can remain calm and efficient in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for reservation systems and phone handling.
  • Multilingual ability is an advantage.
