Head Waiter – Zea Restaurant Dubai

Zea Restaurant Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and service‑driven Head Waiter to join our front‑of‑house leadership team. You will act as a bridge between the service team and management, supporting smooth daily operations while maintaining a strong presence on the floor. Your responsibilities will include leading service sequences, coordinating table allocations, managing guest requests, and ensuring that all team members uphold the restaurant’s standards. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior staff, guiding them through service steps, menu knowledge, and guest engagement techniques.

This position requires a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, strong product knowledge, and the ability to anticipate guest needs. You should be comfortable handling high‑volume service, resolving challenges calmly, and maintaining a polished, professional demeanor at all times. Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the service team during daily operations.
• Ensure smooth service flow and adherence to Zea’s service standards.
• Greet, seat, and engage guests with professionalism and warmth.
• Coordinate table assignments and manage floor plans.
• Support management in handling guest feedback and special requests.
• Train, mentor, and guide junior waitstaff.
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions.
• Ensure cleanliness, readiness, and proper setup of the dining area.
• Assist with POS operations, billing, and order accuracy.
• Uphold hygiene, safety, and grooming standards at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter or Senior Waiter in a premium or high‑volume restaurant.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent guest‑service mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Professional appearance and confident presence.
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic service procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Immediate joiners or short‑notice candidates preferred.
