Job Description:

As a member of our Front of House team at The Banc, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their visit.

The Banc is a premier dining destination located at the Renaissance Hotel Business Bay in Dubai. Originating from London, The Banc is celebrated for its commitment to quality and excellence. We provide a vibrant atmosphere, featuring live DJ performances nightly, making it an ideal venue for special occasions or a night out with friends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome.

  • Manage reservations efficiently, optimizing seating arrangements to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant capacity.

  • Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant facilities.

  • Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the reception and waiting areas.

  • Collaborate with the waiting staff to ensure seamless service and communication between front and back of house.

  • Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues to the guest’s satisfaction.

  • Monitor guest flow and assist in managing wait times during peak hours.

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.

  • Prior experience in a customer service or front-of-house role is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Professional appearance and grooming standards.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
