Floor manager 1 application

We are hiring an experienced, hands‑on Floor Manager to lead front‑of‑house operations at one of AlphaMind Group’s flagship venues in Dubai. The Floor Manager will ensure exceptional guest experiences, drive service standards, supervise FOH teams, and coordinate with kitchen and events teams during high‑volume shifts. This is a full‑time role requiring evening and weekend availability.

Duties and responsibilities

• Team leadership: Supervise, coach and motivate hosts, servers, bartenders and runners; run pre‑shift briefings and post‑shift debriefs.
• Service standards: Maintain and enforce service protocols, ensure consistent delivery of hospitality standards and guest etiquette.
• Floor operations: Oversee seating flow, table turns, reservations coordination, and real‑time problem solving during service.
• Guest relations: Handle VIPs, special requests and guest complaints with professionalism and discretion; follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordination with kitchen: Communicate service pacing, special dietary requests and timing with the kitchen and expeditor.
• Event execution: Lead FOH execution for private events, buyouts and large covers; coordinate staffing and floor plans.
• Administrative duties: Manage shift rotas, monitor covers and revenue metrics, complete incident and feedback reports.
• Training and development: Identify training needs, deliver on‑the‑job coaching and support career progression for FOH staff.
• Health and safety: Ensure compliance with hygiene, licensing and safety regulations on the floor.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a supervisory FOH role in high‑volume restaurants, lounges, hotels or clubs; prior Floor Manager or Assistant Manager experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and time‑management skills; excellent verbal communication and guest‑service orientation.
• Commercial awareness: Ability to read covers, manage table turns and support revenue targets.
• Availability: Flexible schedule with regular evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Languages: Fluent English; additional languages advantageous.
• Presentation: Professional grooming and polished demeanor.
• Right to work: Legal authorization to work in the UAE.
• Qualifications: Hospitality diploma or equivalent is a plus.
