Pera Palace is seeking a detail‑oriented and customer‑focused Cashier to join our expanding restaurant operations team in Dubai. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling guest payments, managing billing accuracy, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and able to communicate clearly with both guests and team members. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process guest payments accurately using the POS system
  • Issue receipts, manage cash drawers, and reconcile transactions
  • Handle billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally
  • Maintain a clean and organized cashier station
  • Assist with reservations, take‑away orders, and guest inquiries when needed
  • Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth guest flow
  • Follow company policies, cash‑handling procedures, and safety standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Cashier in a restaurant or retail environment (preferred)
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and team‑oriented
