Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Specialty Coffee Senior Barista to join our team. As a Senior Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional coffee experience to our guests, while leading and mentoring a team of baristas. You will work closely with the management team to ensure our coffee standards are consistently maintained, and you’ll contribute to the training and development of new team members.

Position: Specialty Coffee Senior Barista

Location: Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee drinks, ensuring consistency and excellence with each cup.
  • Lead by example and train new baristas, offering guidance on coffee preparation, equipment maintenance, and customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure that the cafe operates efficiently during peak hours, providing outstanding service to customers.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
  • Help with the development of new coffee offerings and seasonal specials.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a specialty coffee environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of specialty coffee, including brewing techniques, equipment, and espresso-based drinks.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and training others.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in food and beverage operations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
