Job Summary

Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf is seeking a friendly, energetic, and well‑presented Sports Bar Waitress to join our Food & Beverage team. The role focuses on delivering attentive table service, creating a lively guest atmosphere during sports screenings and events, and maintaining high standards of hospitality across the sports bar venue.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional manner
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver timely service
• Serve during live sports screenings, match nights, and special events
• Recommend menu items, upsell promotions, and highlight signature drinks
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of tables, bar area, and service stations
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth, timely delivery
• Handle guest requests, dietary needs, and complaints professionally and promptly
• Process payments and ensure accurate billing when required
• Assist with setup and breakdown for events and match‑day layouts
• Follow hygiene, safety, and responsible service of alcohol policies

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Waitress/Waiter in a bar, sports bar, or hotel F&B outlet preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a lively, high‑volume environment during events
• Customer‑focused attitude with a friendly, engaging personality
• Professional grooming and presentation
• Basic English communication; additional languages are an advantage
• Ability to multitask, stand for extended periods, and carry trays safely
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
