Job Description:

As the Head Waiter at The Banc, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will oversee the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring that service standards are met and that guests receive prompt, attentive, and courteous service.

Position: Head Waiter

Location: The Banc Restaurant, Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of waitstaff, ensuring efficient and high-quality service.

  • Greet and seat guests, presenting menus, and providing detailed information about menu items and specials.

  • Take and relay orders accurately to the kitchen and bar staff.

  • Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and ensure a memorable dining experience.

  • Assist in training and mentoring new waitstaff, promoting a positive team environment.

  • Manage reservations and optimize seating arrangements to maximize efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.

  • Handle financial transactions accurately, including processing payments and balancing cash registers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a waiter/waitress with demonstrated leadership abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu descriptions and preparation methods.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.

  • A positive attitude, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or related fields is a plus.
