S.J. Abed General Enterprises Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly organized Camp Boss to oversee the daily operations of our remote workforce accommodation facilities. This role is essential to ensuring that all camp activities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong administrative skills, excellent people management abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and service. As Camp Boss, you will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating logistics, managing supplies, and ensuring that all residents receive a comfortable and well‑maintained living environment. This is a dynamic position suited for someone who thrives in fast‑paced, multicultural settings and can confidently handle operational challenges.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full operation of the camp, ensuring smooth daily functioning.
  • Supervise housekeeping, catering, maintenance, and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and camp equipment; coordinate procurement needs.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Monitor accommodation allocation and ensure proper room assignments.
  • Handle staff scheduling, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate transportation, logistics, and camp activities as required.
  • Ensure proper waste management and environmental compliance.
  • Maintain strong communication with management, contractors, and clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Camp Boss or similar supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multicultural teams in remote or camp environments.
  • Knowledge of camp operations, catering, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in basic reporting and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle operational challenges effectively.
  • Flexibility to work in remote locations and extended schedules.
