Deli Em Sherif is expanding its team and seeks experienced hospitality professionals with a passion for authentic Lebanese cuisine. Open positions: Deli Manager, Assistant Deli Manager, Service Chef, Assistant Service Chef, Supervisor, Pastry Chef, Arabic Cashier, and Chef de Partie. Duties and Responsibilities
Common responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding guest service reflecting Lebanese hospitality and the brand’s standards.
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations consistently.
- Work collaboratively across front- and back-of-house to ensure smooth service and positive guest experiences.
Deli Manager
- Oversee daily operations of the deli; ensure quality, consistency, and timely service.
- Lead, coach, and develop staff; manage rotas and performance.
- Control costs and inventory, manage supplier relationships, and resolve guest issues.
Assistant Deli Manager
- Support the Deli Manager in operations, staff supervision, and daily problem-solving.
- Stand in for the manager when required and assist with training and quality checks.
Service Chef / Assistant Service Chef
- Prepare and present Lebanese dishes to the deli’s standards.
- Maintain mise en place, portion control, and consistency across all dishes.
- Support kitchen cleanliness and inventory practices; train junior cooks (Service Chef).
Chef de Partie
- Execute assigned station duties with precision and speed.
- Ensure plate presentation and recipe adherence, assist in stock rotation and prep work.
Pastry Chef
- Create and produce bakery and dessert items rooted in Lebanese and regional flavours.
- Develop seasonal pastry offerings, manage pastry stock, and maintain hygiene standards.
Supervisor
- Coordinate service flow during shifts, support staff on the floor, and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor service standards and lead by example in delivering hospitality.
Arabic Cashier
- Handle guest transactions accurately and courteously.
- Provide Arabic-language support to Arabic-speaking guests where required and assist with POS reconciliation.
