We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team! As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact with our customers and will play an essential role in providing excellent customer service during the checkout process. This is an exciting opportunity for those who are passionate about delivering a positive shopping experience while maintaining efficient store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive and friendly experience.
  • Payment Processing: Handle various forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, and gift cards, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Change Handling: Accurately count and dispense change to customers, ensuring a smooth and precise transaction process.
  • Receipt Issuance: Issue receipts to customers and ensure that all transactions are recorded correctly in the system.
  • Checkout Area Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked, ensuring a pleasant and tidy environment.
  • Cash Handling Policies: Adhere to company policies and procedures related to cash handling and ensure that all transactions follow established guidelines.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as required by the supervisor to assist in the smooth operation of the store.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with work hours.
