👩💼 Hostess
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming first impression
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements using the restaurant’s booking system
- Coordinate guest flow and communicate table status with the service team
- Maintain the appearance and ambiance of the entrance and reception area
- Provide accurate wait times and ensure guest comfort during peak hours
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests with grace and efficiency
🧑🍽️ Head Waiter
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the service team during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service
- Coordinate table assignments, monitor guest satisfaction, and resolve issues proactively
- Train and mentor junior waitstaff, upholding service standards and brand values
- Liaise with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
- Assist in daily briefings, upselling initiatives, and guest engagement strategies
- Maintain hygiene, grooming, and mise-en-place standards across the floor
🍷 Waiter
Key Responsibilities:
- Present menus, explain dishes, and make recommendations based on guest preferences
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system
- Serve dishes and drinks with attention to detail and timing
- Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience
- Handle billing, payments, and feedback with professionalism
- Support team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment
🏃 Runner
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests promptly and safely
- Ensure correct order presentation and assist waiters with table service
- Clear and reset tables efficiently between seatings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in service stations and back-of-house areas
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth flow
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times
