Royal Rose Abu Dhabi, proudly part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, is seeking an experienced and service-driven Front Office Supervisor to lead our reception and guest services team. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who combines operational know-how with a genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise daily front office operations, coach and mentor staff, ensure smooth check-in/check-out procedures, and uphold brand standards across all guest touchpoints. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, a decisive problem-solver, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment while maintaining attention to detail and a calm, professional demeanor.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise Front Office Operations: Oversee daily reception activities, ensure efficient check-in/check-out, manage room allocations, and maintain front desk standards.
  • Team Leadership and Training: Coach, mentor, and schedule front office staff; conduct performance reviews and deliver ongoing training to maintain service excellence.
  • Guest Relations and Service Recovery: Handle escalated guest requests and complaints, implement service recovery measures, and ensure timely follow-up to restore guest satisfaction.
  • Reservations and Revenue Support: Monitor reservations, assist with upselling and room inventory management, and liaise with reservations and revenue teams to optimize occupancy.
  • Shift Management and Reporting: Prepare shift handovers, daily front office reports, and incident logs; ensure accurate billing and reconciliation.
  • Coordination with Departments: Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and concierge to fulfill guest requests and resolve operational issues.
  • Standards and Compliance: Enforce brand standards, health and safety procedures, and cash-handling policies; support internal audits and quality checks.
  • Guest Communication: Provide concierge-level information, manage VIP arrivals, and ensure personalized service for high-value guests.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma required; diploma or degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in front office operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role at a 4- or 5-star hotel or equivalent.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages advantageous. Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and customer-service skills.
  • Technical: Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and MS Office; familiarity with revenue and reservation tools is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Professional presentation, high emotional intelligence, decisive under pressure, and a proactive, guest-first mindset.
  • Availability: Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Legal: Right to work in the UAE and any required local certifications or permits.
