Head Waiter

Location: The Banc Restaurant, Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Assist the leadership team in achieving high guest satisfaction through attentive and personalized service.
  • Guide and lead the service team, providing training and support to ensure adherence to service standards.
  • Maximize sales potential by encouraging upselling and promoting menu items.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and maintain secure cash floats.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and stewarding teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly, maintaining a professional demeanor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years’ management experience in restaurants and bars.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Professional appearance and grooming standards.

Waiter/Waitress

Location: The Banc Restaurant, Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about menu items and specials.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing concerns or special requests promptly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Process payments accurately, handling cash and electronic transactions securely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and replenishing supplies.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a waiter/waitress is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality is a plus.

  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Assist in managing wait times during peak hours, ensuring effective communication with guests.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.
  • Prior experience in customer service or front-of-house roles is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
