Home Bakery is expanding its Front Of House team in Abu Dhabi and we’re seeking friendly, experienced Waiters and Waitresses to join our warm, fast-paced café environment. If you take pride in delivering attentive service, enjoy working with a close-knit team, and thrive in casual dining or stand-up café settings, this role is for you. Successful candidates will have at least two years of UAE experience, be ready to start immediately, and bring a positive, guest-first attitude. You’ll play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences by combining efficient service with genuine hospitality.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Guest Service: Greet and seat guests warmly; present menus and daily specials; take accurate food and beverage orders; deliver orders promptly and check guest satisfaction.
  • Order Management: Coordinate with kitchen and barista team to ensure timely service; confirm special requests and dietary needs; handle order changes professionally.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently; maintain dining area presentation and cleanliness throughout service.
  • Upselling and Recommendations: Suggest menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and increase average check.
  • Cash Handling Support: Assist with basic bill preparation and POS operations when required.
  • Health and Safety: Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in casual dining, café, or restaurant roles within the UAE.
  • Availability: Able to join immediately and work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills in English; friendly, professional demeanor; ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Attitude: Positive, guest-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail.
  • Other: Valid UAE work authorization and residency in Abu Dhabi preferred.
