M by Mirai Bahrain is seeking an experienced and inspiring Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and elevate the guest experience at our contemporary Japanese dining concept. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership — Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service flow, consistent standards, and efficient use of resources.
  • Team Management — Recruit, train, schedule, and develop service staff; conduct regular coaching and performance reviews.
  • Guest Experience — Maintain high standards of hospitality; handle guest feedback and lead recovery efforts to preserve guest loyalty.
  • Financial Oversight — Monitor sales, control labor and food costs, manage cash handling, and support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Inventory and Vendor Relations — Supervise stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Compliance and Safety — Ensure adherence to health, safety, licensing, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Marketing and Revenue Growth — Collaborate on local promotions, events, and upselling strategies to drive covers and average check.
  • Reporting and Administration — Prepare shift reports, maintain records, and communicate effectively with senior management.

Requirements

  • Experience — Minimum 3–5 years in restaurant management within upscale or fine-dining environments.
  • Leadership — Proven ability to lead, motivate, and retain a diverse team; strong coaching and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Commercial Acumen — Comfortable with P&L basics, cost control, and performance metrics.
  • Service Knowledge — Deep understanding of fine-dining service standards, reservation flow, and POS systems.
  • Communication — Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Personal Attributes — Professional presentation, calm under pressure, decisive, and guest-focused.
  • Availability — Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Certifications — Food safety or hospitality-related certifications preferred.
